Helmi Ansari and his wife Mehreen Sait founded Grosche International in the laundry room of their home 10 years ago. The company has experienced considerable growth and now distributes tea and coffee supplies from five warehouses in North America, Europe and New Zealand, as well as through a retail storefront in Guelph. A challenger to the idea that retail must be built on high churn and poverty wages, Helmi believes companies succeed when they take a long-term mindset that acknowledges success is a two-way street between employers and staff. This is also why Grosche pays a living wage to all its employees.
