North York Harvest Food Bank's mission is to engage their community in meeting the food needs of northern Toronto by providing dignified food assistance, education, focused advocacy, and long-term food solutions.

"We need an economy that works for everyone, and that has to include access to fair wages, non-precarious employment and paid sick days. As a food bank we know that lack of decent work is a key driver of poverty and food insecurity in our city. North York Harvest is committed to being a decent work employer and to advocating for it across our communities." Ryan Noble, Executive Director, North York Harvest Food Bank
